How Did Your Guests Like Your Biker Wedding?

Biker brides send me emails and tell me how thankful they are that this website was here to help them plan their wedding. I love getting emails from you guys!
Often though, I wonder, what were your wedding guests reactions to the motorcycle aspects of your wedding?
I’d love to hear what they thought, whether you had a full blown biker wedding or just took pictures on your motorcycle.

Well, I guess you could say I had a full blown biker wedding but the guests included a lot of family and friends that were not bikers. I must admit that I had a few anxiety ridden nights wondering how my 90 year old Grandmother (who believe me, is NOT the partying type, even though she met my Grandfather while riding his Harley) would handle my biker wedding.
The weather was a bit uncooperative but aside from the wedding party we had about 50 bikes show up for the service. The entire wedding was “biker” themed from the cake to the lil biker rubber duckie favors. I can honestly say the wedding went off without a hitch (the weather did clear up eventually) and all 300 guests had a blast. Although all of the guests appreciated the “uniqueness” of the wedding (most, even the bikers had never been to a big biker wedding before)I would have to say the guests themselves and their reactions to each other (non-bikers & bikers) were the best part of the day. They mingled,laughed, drank, and danced together all evening!!!
I can not even begin to tell you how many people told me that our wedding was, hands down, the best wedding they had ever attended. Although a lot of family members did, at first, have some reservations about the event, they all had the time of their lives. And yes, my Grandmother thoroughly enjoyed herself. She just couldn’t believe how “nice and polite” the bikers were and that they had all come up to her and introduced themselves.
It is now 3 months later and people are still talking about our wedding and how much fun it was. Just the other day my husband text me and said “You know, we had the best wedding ever”.
